Sct. Oluf is a French, bistro-style restaurant serving up affordable meals in an informal atmosphere. Very much a no-frills concept, the restaurant offers two options for each of its three courses (starter, main course and dessert). The dishes are, for the most part, unpretentious yet well-assembled meals combining Danish and French cuisine. The easygoing attitude is echoed in the décor of the restaurant, which is both informal and cosy, as well as the courtyard out back which is lovely during the warmer months.
Sct. Oluf makes a concerted effort to cater to the budget-conscious Aarhusian population, with two courses costing 175 DKK and three costing 195. Absolutely a reasonable price, considering the typically high quality served by the fabled Mejlgade establishment.
