The Burger Shack has received quite a bit of attention recently for serving some of the best burgers in Aarhus, full stop. Adhering to the philosophy that a burger should be handheld and not require cutlery to eat, the Shack offers simple yet extremely tasty burgers that leave you craving more. What’s more, the free-range beef and organic veggies means you can eat there with a clear conscience.
Of course, any good burger should come with fries, and the Frederiksgade joint doesn’t fall short on this point, either. Shack Fries are beautifully crisp and perfectly seasoned with thyme and Parmesan (that’s right!), making them scrumptious to say the least. Add one of the delicious homemade mayonnaises, and you’ve got yourself the perfect indulgent meal.
Finally, of course, the Burger Shack truly excels in terms of prices. Meals consisting of a burger with fries and a soft drink start at just 80 DKK, while you can throw in a bit extra to add cheese, bacon or an extra patty. What’s more, if you fancy going for a beer, the Shack has a partnership with the adjacent Tír na nÓg Irish pub, allowing you to bring your meal there with a beer included for a mere 95 DKK.
